For a few seconds, I thought he was joking.<\/p>\n
I looked at him and asked,<\/p>\n
\u201cAre you serious?\u201d<\/p>\n
He nodded without hesitation.<\/p>\n
He explained that his daughter needed peace of mind, that she shouldn\u2019t have to worry about money, and that if he gave her financial security, she would have time to become emotionally stable.<\/p>\n
