A little girl asks her Mom, \u201cMay I take the dog for a walk around the block?\u201d
\nMom says, \u201cNo honey, the dog is in heat.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat\u2019s that mean?\u201d asked the child.<\/p>\n
\u201cGo ask your Father. I think he\u2019s in the garage\u201d.<\/p>\n
The little girl goes to the garage and says, \u201cDad, can I take Susie for a walk around the block? I asked Mom but she said the dog was in heat and said I should ask you\u201d.<\/p>\n
Her Dad said, \u201cBring Susie over here\u201d.<\/p>\n
He took a rag, soaked it with gasoline, and scrubbed the dog\u2019s rear end with it and said, \u201cOk, you can go now but keep Susie on the leash and only go one time around the block\u201d.<\/p>\n
The little girl leaves and returns a few minutes later with no dog on the leash.<\/p>\n
Her Dad asks, \u201cWhere\u2019s Susie?\u201d<\/p>\n
The girl replies, \u201cSusie ran out of gas about halfway down the block \u2013 and there\u2019s another dog pushing her home!\u201d<\/p>\n
A man is walking home when he sees a dog buying meat for his owner.
\nThe man watches the dog when the butcher takes a little to much and growls and him until he gets the right amount. The man follows the dog and watches as the dog stands on two legs and helps an old lady across the street. Amazed the man follows the dog home and watches the dog ring the doorbell.<\/p>\n
When the owner comes to the door the owner takes the bags and tells the dog to stay in the front yard.<\/p>\n
Frustrated the man goes up to the owner and yells \u201cThis dog is amazing! He gets your groceries, makes sure you have the exact change, helps old ladies across the street and this is how you treat him!\u201d<\/p>\n
The owner replies, \u201cI know but,this is the 3rd time this week he left his keys\u201d.<\/p>\n
Upon entering the little country store,
\nthe stranger noticed a sign saying \u201cDANGER! BEWARE OF DOG!\u201d posted on the glass door. Inside he noticed a harmless old hound dog asleep on the floor besides the cash register.<\/p>\n
He asked the store manager, \u201cIs that the dog folks are supposed to beware of?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYep, that\u2019s him,\u201d he replied.<\/p>\n
The stranger couldn\u2019t help but be amused. \u201cThat certainly doesn\u2019t look like a dangerous dog to me. Why in the world would you post that sign?\u201d<\/p>\n
