\nTo test their skills in recognizing a suspect, he shows the first guys a picture for 5 seconds and then hides it. \u201cThis is your suspect, how would you recognize him?\u201d<\/p>\n

\nThe first guy answers, \u201cThat\u2019s easy, we\u2019ll catch him fast because he only has one eye!\u201d<\/p>\n
The policeman says, \u201cWell\u2026uh\u2026that\u2019s because the picture I showed is his side profile.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nSlightly flustered by this ridiculous response, he flashes the picture for 5 seconds at the second guy and asks him, \u201cThis is your suspect, how would you recognize him?\u201d<\/p>\n
The second guy smiles, flips his hair, and says, \u201cHa! He\u2019d be too easy to catch because he only has one ear!\u201d<\/p>\n
The policeman angrily responds, \u201cWhat\u2019s the matter with you two?? Of course only one eye and one ear are showing because it\u2019s a picture of his side profile! Is that the best answer you can come up with?\u201d<\/p>\n

Extremely frustrated at this point, he shows the picture to the third guy and in a very testy voice asks, \u201cThis is your suspect, how would you recognize him?\u201d He quickly adds, \u201cThink hard before giving me a stupid answer.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nThe third guy looks at the picture intently for a moment and says, \u201cthe suspect wears contact lenses.\u201d<\/p>\n
The policeman is surprised and speechless because he really doesn\u2019t know himself if the suspect wears contacts or not.<\/p>\n
\u201cWell, that\u2019s an interesting answer. Wait here for a few minutes while I check his file and I\u2019ll get back to you on that.\u201d<\/p>\n
He leaves the room and goes to his office, checks the suspect\u2019s file on his computer, and comes back with a beaming smile on his face. \u201cWow! I can\u2019t believe it. It\u2019s TRUE! The suspect does, in fact, wear contact lenses. Good work! How were you able to make such an astute observation?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s easy,\u201d the third guy replied.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe can\u2019t wear regular glasses because he only has one eye and one ear.\u201d<\/p>\n
The local sheriff was looking for a deputy, so Chad \u2013 the new blond recruit, wants the job.<\/p>\n
\u201cOkay,\u201d the sheriff drawled, \u201cChad, what is 1 and 1?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201c11\u201d he replied.<\/p>\n
The sheriff thought to himself, \u201cThat\u2019s not what I meant, but he\u2019s right.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat two days of the week start with the letter \u2018T\u2019?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cToday and tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n
He was again surprised that Chad supplied a correct answer that he had never thought of himself. Perhaps he has a creative mind.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow Chad, listen carefully: Who k*lled Abraham Lincoln?\u201d<\/p>\n
Chad looked a little surprised himself, then thought really hard for a minute and finally admitted, \u201cI don\u2019t know.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWell, why don\u2019t you go home and work on that one for a while?\u201d<\/p>\n
So, Chad wandered over to the pool hall where his pals were waiting to hear the results of the interview.<\/p>\n
\u201cHey Chad! How was it?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt went great! First day on the job and I\u2019m already working on a murd*r case!\u201d<\/p>\n
A policeman stops two drunks and asks one, \u201cWhere do you live?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNowhere\u201d, the first drunk replied.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd where do you live?\u201d, he asks the other.<\/p>\n
