His ears pinned back, then forward, like he was listening to something no one else could hear.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4858\" data-end=\"4892\">Emily stepped closer to the grave.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4894\" data-end=\"4981\">\u201cI know him,\u201d she said, her voice shaking but steady. \u201cHe never acts like this.
