Mike came back recently from an African safari.<\/h2>\n

After his arrival, he went to visit his friend, Brendan and told him all about his adventures while he was in Africa.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne day I was out in the jungle\u201d, he said, \u201cwhen all of a sudden I heard a noise in the bush behind me. Looking back, I saw a huge lion, licking his chops and smiling at me\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh My God\u201d, Brendan said, \u201cwhat happened next?\u201d<\/p>\n

Mike continued, \u201cThe lion started coming my way and I started running, with the lion not far behind me. When the lion had just about caught up with me and was almost at my neck, he suddenly slipped and I got ahead a bit\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cWow that was a lucky break\u201d, Brendan said.<\/p>\n

Mike continued with his story, while Brendan looked on in amazement.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe lion started gaining on me again and as he got closer, once again he slipped. I happened to see a hut not far away, so I made towards it. I got close to the hut with the lion almost on top of me, when he slipped for a third time. With my very last bit of strength, I ran into the hut and quickly closed the door in the lion\u2019s face\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s some story, Mike, I would have crapped in my pants\u201d, Brendan said.<\/p>\n

Mike replied, \u201cWell, what do you think the lion kept slipping on?\u201d<\/p>\n

Two men were in a forest,<\/h2>\n

when a lion came roaring towards them.<\/p>\n

One of them throws sand into the lion\u2019s eyes and then runs.<\/p>\n

The second man stays, unmoved.<\/p>\n

The first man looks back and shouts, \u201cWhy are you not running?\u201d<\/p>\n

The second man replies,\u00a0\u201cWhy should I be running? You\u2019re the one who threw the sand.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

A lion woke up one morning feeling really rowdy and mean.<\/h2>\n

He went out and cornered a small monkey and roared, \u201cWho is the mightiest of all jungle animals?\u201d<\/p>\n

The trembling monkey says, \u201cYou are, mighty lion!\u201d<\/p>\n

Later, the lion confronts a ox and fiercely bellows, \u201cWho is the mightiest of all jungle animals?\u201d<\/p>\n

The terrified ox stammers, \u201cOh great lion, you are the mightiest animal in the jungle!\u201d<\/p>\n

On a roll now, the lion swaggers up to an elephant and roars, \u201cWho is the mightiest of all jungle animals?\u201d<\/p>\n

Fast as lightning, the elephant snatches up the lion with his trunk, slams him against a tree half a dozen times leaving the lion feeling like it\u2019d been run over by a safari wagon. The elephant then stomps on the lion till it looks like a corn tortilla and ambles away.<\/p>\n

The lion lets out a moan of pain, lifts his head weakly and hollers after the elephant \u2013<\/p>\n
