A bricklayer at my husbands construction job routinely complained about the contents of his lunch box.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m sick and tired of getting the same old thing!\u201d he shouted one day. \u201cTonight I\u2019ll set my wife straight.\u201d<\/p>\n
The next day the men could hardly wait until lunch time to hear what happened.<\/p>\n

He had indeed. In front of an admiring audience, he opened his lunch box to find that his wife had packed\u00a0a coconut- and a hammer.<\/strong><\/p>\n A man is at work one day when he notices that his co-worker is wearing an earring.<\/p>\n This man knows his co-worker to be a normally conservative fellow, and is curious about his sudden change in \u201cfashion sense.\u201d<\/p>\n The man walks up to him and says, \u201cI didn\u2019t know you were into earrings.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cDon\u2019t make such a big deal out of this, it\u2019s only an earring,\u201d he replies sheepishly.<\/p>\n His friend falls silent for a few minutes, but then his curiosity prods him to say: \u201cSo, how long have you been wearing one?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cEver since my wife found it in my truck.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n A lawyer defending a man accused of burglary tried this creative defence:<\/p>\n \u201cMy client merely inserted his arm into the window and removed a few trifling articles. His arm is not himself, and I fail to see how you can punish the whole individual for an offence committed by his limb.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWell put,\u201d the judge replied.<\/p>\n \u201cUsing your logic, I sentence the defendant\u2019s arm to one-year imprisonment. He can accompany it or not, as he chooses.\u201d<\/p>\n The defendant smiled.
