There were only two people in line ahead of me at the electronics store, yet the wait was dragging on forever.<\/h2>\n

Finally, the customer behind me muttered, \u201cMr. Hare must be on vacation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Only then did I notice the name tag on the man at the register.<\/p>\n

It read:\u00a0\u201cMr. Turtle, sales associate.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once there were three turtles.<\/h2>\n

One day they decided to go on a picnic. When they got there, they realized they had forgotten the soda.<\/p>\n

The youngest turtle said he would go home and get it if they wouldn\u2019t eat the sandwiches until he got back.<\/p>\n

A week went by, then a month, finally a year, when the two turtles said, \u201cOh, come on, let\u2019s eat the sandwiches.\u201d<\/p>\n

Suddenly the little turtle popped up from behind a rock and said,\u00a0\u201cIf you do, I won\u2019t go!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Deep within a forest, a little turtle began to climb a tree.<\/h2>\n

After hours of effort, he reached the top, jumped into the air and crashed to the ground.<\/p>\n

After recovering, he slowly climbed the tree again, jumped, and fell to the ground.<\/p>\n

The turtle tried again and again while a couple of birds sitting on a branch watched his sad efforts.<\/p>\n

Finally, the female bird turned to her mate, \u201cDear,\u201d she chirped,\u00a0\u201cI think it\u2019s time to tell him he\u2019s adopted.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two women realize that their apartment is on fire and go out onto the balcony.<\/h2>\n

\u201cHelp, help!\u201d yells one of the women.<\/p>\n

\u201cHelp us, help us!\u201d yells the other.<\/p>\n

\u201cMaybe it would help if we yell together,\u201d said the first.<\/p>\n

\u201cGood idea,\u201d said the other.<\/p>\n

\u201cTOGETHER, TOGETHER!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Irish Bobby appeared on \u201cWho Wants To Be A Millionaire\u201d and towards the end of the program had already won $500,000.<\/h2>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve done very well so far,\u201d said Chris Tarrant, the show\u2019s presenter, \u201cbut you\u2019ve only got one life-line left, phone a friend. Everything is riding on this question. Will you go for it?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSure,\u201d said Bobby. \u201cI\u2019ll have a go!\u201d<\/p>\n
