\u201cWell how about a new Mercedes sports car?\u201d says John.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo,\u201d she responds.<\/p>\n

\u201cWould some beautiful new jewelry do the trick?\u201d he asks, becoming slightly exasperated.<\/p>\n

\u201cNah\u2026\u201d she shrugs.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat about a new vacation home in the country?\u201d he persists.<\/p>\n

She again rejects his offer with a \u201cNo thanks.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWell what WOULD you like?\u201d John asks.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want a divorce.\u201d answers Mary.<\/p>\n

\u201cSorry,\u201d John sighed.\u00a0\u201cI wasn\u2019t planning on spending that much.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two husbands were discussing their married lives.<\/h2>\n

Although happily married, they admitted that there were arguments sometimes.<\/p>\n

Then Chad said, \u201cI\u2019ve made one great discovery. I now know how to always have the last word.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWow!\u201d said Sherm, \u201chow did you manage that?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s easy,\u201d replied Chad.<\/p>\n

It was a few days before Valentine\u2019s Day and a young woman was taking an afternoon nap.<\/h2>\n

After she woke up, she told her husband, \u201cI just dreamed that you gave me a pearl necklace for Valentine\u2019s day! What do you think it means?\u201d<\/p>\n

Her husband smiled. \u201cOh, I have a feeling you\u2019ll know later tonight.\u201d he said with a wink.<\/p>\n

His wife squealed with joy.<\/p>\n

That evening, the man came home with a small package and gave it to his wife.<\/p>\n

Delighted, she opened it\u2026 only to find a book titled\u00a0\u201cThe meaning of dreams.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

An absent-minded husband thought<\/h2>\n

he had conquered his problem of trying to remember his wife\u2019s birthday and their anniversary.<\/p>\n

He opened an account with a florist, provided that florist with the dates and instructions to send flowers to his wife on these dates along with an appropriate note signed, Your loving husband.<\/p>\n

His wife was thrilled by this new display of attention and all went well until next year, on their anniversary, when he came home, kissed his wife and said off-handedly,<\/p>\n

\u201cNice flowers, honey. Where\u2019d you get them?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Shortly before our 25th wedding anniversary, my husband sent 25 long-stemmed yellow roses to me at my office.<\/h2>\n

A few days later, I plucked all the petals and dried them.<\/p>\n

On the night of our anniversary, I spread the petals over the bed and lay on top of them, wearing only a negligee.<\/p>\n

As I\u2019d hoped, I got a reaction from my husband.<\/p>\n
